Nobel committee changes the rules
Nobel Prizes are not awarded posthumously, but the committee is making an exception in the case of Dr. Ralph Steinman.
The Canadian scientist was honoured for his groundbreaking research in the field of cancer treatment. But after the committee announced he has won, Steinman's family revealed he had passed away a few days before the announcement.
