Canadians going off the grid
For some, it's a matter of privacy and independence, for others it's an environmental concern, but for whatever reason a growing number of Canadians are choosing to go off the grid and live without access to municipal services.
Phillip Vannini wonders what motivates these people, so he's going to spend the next five years traveling the country, meeting people who have gone off the grid and documenting their experiences.
He's in the Yukon, along with photographer Jonathan Taggart.
