Crosby not ready to start NHL season
Pittsburgh Penguin star Sidney Crosby won't be able to start the NHL hockey season with his teammates, but he says his post-concussion syndromes are improving.
Crosby has been out of the lineup since January, after absorbing hits to the head in two successive games.
Globe and Mail columnist Bruce Dowbiggan says Crosby's injury may be the catalyst that forces the NHL and the NHL Players Association to get serious about hits to the head.
