About the Show

CBC's landmark Canadian comedy series, Royal Canadian Air Farce, ran for sixteen seasons on television, producing 332 weekly episodes of topical comedy from Friday, October 8, 1993 through Friday, December 5, 2008. Attracting an average audience of over a million viewers per episode, Air Farce is still Canada’s most enduring and successful television comedy series.

Royal Canadian Air Farce’s annual New Year's Special is a tradition that began in 1992 and continues to today.

The original cast of Roger Abbott, Don Ferguson, Luba Goy and John Morgan expanded over the years to include Jessica Holmes, Craig Lauzon, Alan Park and Penelope Corrin.
