The Prime Minister has one. So do Microsoft, the CBC, and the Pope. They’ve all got a form of logo: a visual symbol, trademark or emblem that distinguishes who they are. Join Terry as he tells the stories behind some of the great logos and trademarks, and shows how today’s brand innovators are “translating” them into sound and even attitude.

Some examples of CBC's logos over the years:

i'm just trying to listen to your show. it's very interesting. don't always agree but that ok

Terry O'Reilly has not been broadcast for the last two Saturday mornings at it's usual time, 1100 hrs. I sincerely hope that you haven't cancelled this program, it's great. Hope you read this.

You're mention about seeing a logo while overseas and feeling more at home is right on the mark.

I've been enjoying going through the archives while I'm spending my year in china.

I took a year of advertising (college level) and I feel I learn more about what I felt we should learn then what I did. (Ad costing and other BS best left up to accountants and those types.).

I have a love hate relationship with advertising because i know it can do so much better for it's self without incurring the wraith of groups like the billboard liberation front, ad busters and the such.

Some good work and I know you guys at pirate know your S___. Keep up the good work.

Very entertaining show & informative too. Keep up the good work!

interesting program, thanks!!! how about a podcast or at least an rss feed?
