It’s among the greatest, most inspired, most creative, most spectacular work done in marketing... yet few ever see it. Every year, Ad agencies pull out all the stops to ‘pitch’ their services to prospective clients. This week, Terry O’Reilly takes you inside the boardrooms to share some of the Ad industry’s best, most remarkable, and most disastrous ‘pitch’ stories, and gleans from them a surprisingly handy set of life-lessons.
Terry O'Reilly is back exploring the countless ways marketers permeate your life, from media, art, and language, to politics, religion, and fashion.

Brilliant!!
The streaming audio allowed me to catch up on the rest of the season. NBC may have "Must-See-TV", but with the Age of Persuasion", CBC has "Must-Listen-Radio"!!

Terry,
I've been listening to your show for a while now and am delighted to be able to listen to the ones I've missed on the radio via the web. As a new comer to the wild world of marketing, I find your show very interesting and informative. Keep up the great work!

Great show. I own a small graphics design company and it is recommended listening for our staff.

"Brian",
A dazzling list of life lessons; one that would surely humble even Aristotle or Kant. And, yes, my boss has called me, "John", "Jack" and even on one occasion commended "Jeff" on a job well done. I guess George isn't all that memorable a name.

Outstanding show - thank you CBC for putting this on the air (and on the web site - nice, nice, nice) and thank you Pirate Radio.

I SO love this show.
I have been wishing for podcasts/archives since O'Reilly on Advertising 3 (4?) years ago.
My life is complete; I can die happy now.

Terry;
My Mom, Dad, and younger sister (13) all love this show. We think it should be part of high-school curriculum.
The on-line streaming helps me get through the most boring parts of my day by educating and entertaining me.
Thank you for taking us (the consumers)into your world. It is a fascinating place.
