Lewis 'Holy' Mackeral (Raoul Bhaneja), the photographer who documented the last days of 3-1 Bravo's deployment in Kandahar, begins working on the second part of his photo essay, as he focusses his lens on the soldiers now that they've returned home. Visiting first Chucky in Sydney, then Dean in the bush outside of Sudbury, he discovers that both men's strategies for dealing with re-entry are falling short of the mark. It's only after seeing them that he realises that he too is suffering from the onset of post- traumatic stress disorder.

With days to go before the end of the mission, Pat, Chucky and Dean are supervising a checkpoint outside of Kandahar City. They intercept a truck full of Afghan men...or so it seems: in reality it's a section of Canadian special ops troops, returning from an undercover mission, led by Lt. Col Campbell, their former O.C. The next morning at KAF, Campbell asks Pat if she'd be interested in participating in another deep cover operation scheduled for that night. When Chucky and Dean, catch wind of Campbell's offer, they all decide to join the mission. On the way home, Campbell offers Pat the opportunity to return to Afghanada for further special operations missions.
