What a Difference: A Tribute to Dinah Washington with Jaclyn Guillou

Vancouver songstress Jaclyn Guillou is known for putting a contemporary jazz spin on music steeped in tradition. One of her heroes is Dinah Washington, one of the great voices of pop, jazz and blues, who died at the tender age of 39. December 14, 2013, marked the 50th anniversary of Dinah's tragic death. Backed by an all-star band, this music doc pays tribute to her legacy through Jaclyn's interpretation of Dinah's most beloved songs.

Fire and Ice

Winnipeg is renowned for its skating trail on the frozen Assiniboine River, reputed to be the longest such trail in the world. Now, a competition to build warming huts along the length of the trail is attracting even more interest from around the world. This one-hour doc explores the new phenomenon.
