Steve Smith and Patrick McKenna protray the characters of Red Green and his nephew Harold on the Red Green Show.

Red's motto was "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy" and believed pretty much anything could be fixed with a roll of duct tape.

Green operated the Possum Lodge with the help of Harold and a series of other regular characters. The Red Green Show featured the much-loved regular segments The Experts, Midlife Musings, The Possum Lodge Word Game, The Repair Shop, Handyman Corner and Ranger Gord's Educational Films.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Smith's quick wit and creative mind have always been a great source of entertainment to his family and friends. That he would make a good living using these natural talents combined with fierce determination and boundless energy is no surprise.

Smith starred in, produced and co-wrote with Rick Green, The Red Green Show. The show was first produced in Hamilton and aired on Global Television before it found its place on CBC in 1997. The show ended in April 2006, after 15 seasons and 300 episodes, which were seen in Canada and 83 public television stations in the U.S.

Smith along with McKenna won the 1998 Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Comedy Program or Series.
