Kids' CBC puts families first with a groundbreaking roster of commercial-free preschool programming created by Canadians for Canadians. CBC Television's weekday mornings are tied together with Kids' Canada hosted interstitials - which celebrate the geographic and cultural diversity of our country.
CBC Television works with the finest producers of children's programming from across Canada to create original, unforgettable programs that become part of the next generation's cultural landscape. The shows are created to mirror a child's world, as well as to open a window to new worlds of discovery and imagination. They encourage children to feel great about themselves, celebrate their accomplishments and nurtures their most important friendship - the one they have with themselves.
In September 2007, Patty joined forces with Bobb in an exciting evolution of CBC's highly rated preschool block.
Sullivan has worked as the host of Kids' Canada since 2003. She got her start in children's television as a highly regarded host at TVOKids. She has crossed Canada three times as star of Kids' CBC's traveling stage show Get Set For Life Tour, and has also made dozens of appearances at major children's festivals and cultural and charitable events across the country. She served as a UNICEF ambassador for several years and was part of the TVOKids production team that won an International Emmy Award for their 1995 International Children's Day of Broadcasting. She was also nominated for a Gemini Award for best performance in a youth program or series for
Life at School: Let's Get Real. In her spare time, Sullivan enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs, and performing in community theatre in and around Toronto.
Whether repelling down a waterfall or bringing indigenous stories to children across Canada on
Canadian Geographic Kids, Bobb puts his heart into whatever he does. Born in British Columbia, a member of the Sto:lo First Nations and a University of Toronto drama grad, Bobb is now based in North Bay, Ont., and a proud father of two. Bobb has had numerous appearances in television, radio, film and theatre, including appearances on
Relic Hunter, CTV's
Twice in a Lifetime, and in the movie
Song of Hiawatha.
Kids' CBC airs weekday mornings from 7:00am to 12:00pm, Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings.
