Image of the Day: I'm Mike ... from Canmore

John Morgan appears as Mike from Canmore on an episode of
Royal Canadian Air Farce.
Mike was known for his slow and bewildered statement of "I'm Mike .... from Canmore". He would often appear in sketches with his dog Norm, that was actually a stuffed animal.
Morgan originally introduced the character while Air Farce was on radio but his stereotypical outfits and ability to pop up in the most unexpected places made Mike a favourite on the show's television rotation.

Morgan played the character on the series until he retired from the show in 2001. He died of a heart attack in 2004 at the age of 74.
