Civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. makes a guest appearance on the CBC Television program Sunday on April 16, 1967.

Also in 1967, King was CBC's Massey Lecturer and delivered a five-part series called Conscience for Change, which aired on the CBC Radio program Ideas. He was assassinated barely a year later on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tenn.
