End of the Year

harper.jpgThe end of the season is here, and we at 22 Minutes Interactive would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who make our work possible.

Thank you Stephen Harper, just for continuing to be you. You're awkward, evil, of questionable leadership ability, inhuman, and watching you interact is just uncomfortable. It makes people feel icky. Some leaders unite the country with their charisma, leadership, intelligence, or passion, but you do it with disappointment and mockability. And for that, we salute you.

Thank you Michael Ignatieff, for proving to all us underachievers out there that being smart and well educated doesn't necessarily translate into success. They always told us that if you study hard, and really apply yourself, you can be Prime Minister. Boy, were they ever wrong.

 And in that vein...
Thank you Jim Flaherty, for showing us that we were right, nobody uses math when they grow up. Even those who should.

Thank you Jack Layton, for your moustache. Sorry about the sickness, we really and truly wish you a speedy recovery. We can't lose you, that moustache is a bottomless fountain of hilarity. Oh, also your party is a joke. Sorry, but it's true.

Thank you whatever-your-name-is-that-runs-the-Green Party. Chin up, politics isn't for everyone.

Thank you Jason Kenney, Helena Guergis, Rahim Jaffer, all the other screw ups for constantly reminding us that it's not just fun to make fun of the Conservative party, it's the right thing to do. You guys are boneheads.

Thank you John Baird, for making your everyday life a wonderful impression of the Incredible Hulk. BAIRD ANGRY! BAIRD SMAASSSHHH! You must go through a lot of shirts.

Thank you Mike Duffy, most people in government aren't half the man you are. Literally.

And thank you viewers, for continuing to tune in and watch 22 Minutes. We couldn't do this without you. Well, we could, I mean you guys don't actually do anything on the show, you kind of just watch. But if no one watched it then we'd probably get cancelled.
Seriously, thank you, you're awesome.

We will now be prorogued until September! Check back then.

It was announced tonight (Dec. 14/10) that 22 Minutes will not return until next Fall. I'd like to know the reason for this. This is about the only program I watch on TV, 22 Minutes and Rick Mercer. They are the only really funny programs on TV and the only programs worth watching. Why would you do this?

I really think you should be on the air all year long as a public service. With every unbelievable thing that happens every day, I think, how will 22 minutes spin this.

As part of our cultural identidy we need our own commentary, it should be a right. Youb could be informing us of the new "G spots"!

I'm just kiddin' around, that's all.....

I've just spent the past 9 months in the US at school.

I've been trying to catch up on 9 month's worth of relevant news.

What happened to all the full episodes that were online a week or so ago?

I LOVE this show; the actors are all wonderful, delivering lines with pizzazz and aplomb and just generally good intelligence. And you're all good-looking, so easy on the eyes. I also like the way you all dress.

I hope 22 minutes continues to air for a very long time. Btw: I'm a 62 year old, happily married woman living in the country now, in our retirement shack....still struggling to make a bit of money after Nortel collapsed, and with it: hubby's pension. So far we're doing ok with a side business which I won't mention out loud lest some politician decides to hack it to pieces or tax it to death.

Hubby and I so look forward to more of your sanity, making fun of the insanity of politics and our world. Keep up the good work!
