Oh, mother-in-laws. Without you, the world would be such a boring, uncomplicated, utopistic place. It's no secret around here that I have had a pretty tumultuous 'relationship' with my mother-in-law over the last twenty-five years. No sooner do I get back from Las Vegas when Ben reminds me it's once again time for our annual camping trip. I hate camping for more reasons than I care to elaborate. I've noticed a growing trend in parenting these days and it's made me wonder - should parents be parents, or should they be friends. Well I'm putting a different spin on the matter - why don't we let the kids decide?
