Discovery returns to space

The space shuttle Discovery orbited Earth Tuesday after what NASA called a "pristine" launch, the first since the Columbia disaster more than two years ago.
A safe mission for Discovery and its crew is considered key to the future of NASA and its space program.
Discovery lifted off as scheduled at 10:39 a.m. ET from Cape Canaveral, Fla.
