TORONTO - Following months of anticipation, the U.S.-based computer company Apple launched its iTunes music download service in Canada Thursday.
The online service allows users of the company's iPod music players to legally download more than 700,000 songs at a flat cost of 99 cents each.
The service launched in the U.S. last year, where it quickly became the top-selling site for legal music downloads.
