Canadian troops arrive in Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE - Canadian soldiers from bases in New Brunswick and Ontario arrived in Haiti Friday afternoon to join an international peacekeeping force.
About 35 soldiers from CFB Gagetown and another 45 from the army's Joint Operations Group in Kingston are the first of some 450 military personnel that Canada has committed to the Haiti operation.

They'll start by looking for barracks, setting up the systems to support the rest of the Canadian contingent and patrolling in the capital, Port-au-Prince.
