Canadian takes historic stroll in space

CAPE CANAVERAL, FLA - The country's space program ventured to new heights Sunday when astronaut Chris Hadfield became the first Canadian to walk in space.

"Oh man! What a view," Hadfield said as he stepped out of the space shuttle Endeavour. "That takes your breath away."

He began the adventure just after 7:50 a.m. eastern time Sunday, dressed in a white spacesuit with a Maple Leaf flag on the sleeve.
