Police investigating wrestler Owen Hart's death

KANSAS CITY - Homicide detectives are investigating the death of Canadian wrestler Owen Hart who died after a fall Sunday night, just before a match in Kansas City.

Hart died after he fell 18 metres to the ring during the World Wrestling Federation event. He was being lowered from the arena rafters by a cable.

Kansas City police say a preliminary investigation shows the cable did not break but something went wrong with the harness.
