Up to 80 people are feared dead and over 1,000 injured after two huge car bombings in the capitals of Kenya and Tanzania. Both attacks were aimed at the United States Embassies.
"Clearly this is a terrorist attack," U.S. State Department spokesman Lee McClenny said in Washington.
A huge blast ripped through the Kenyan capital Nairobi early this morning. It was followed minutes later by an explosion in the Tanzanian capital Dar es Salaam.
